The Canon needs Charlie Kauffman representation. I know the latter is a favorite of Amy's and I personally find Anomalisa to be gut wrenchingly honest in ways that would even make most Synecdoche fans squirm. All this to say I'd love to hear you two debate 2 insta-classics by one of the most eccentric fucks around.
Synecdoche trumps so hard.
Anomalisa is incredibly personal, and I find it hard to believe it doesn't show a deep insight into how Charlie Kaufman views the world (sadly).
Synecdoche also portrays a worldview while showcasing his incredibly layered screenwriting.
Would be down for this!
