Tbh, I found Amy's tangent about how hot Ivana Baquero turned out to be more bizarre and jarring than anything that happened throughout the course of this movie.

I can't help comparing this film to Spirit of the Beehive and it definitely suffers. Amy was spot-on in her observation that the female characters are largely reactive constructs.
