This is kind of a tough one. It's not a great movie by any means, but its impact on popular culture and its innovation in the field of special effects are kind of undeniable. This is a case where I think that those things kind of trump its overall quality.

Yes for me (but reluctantly so).

Nay to Gump! I'm not ashamed about hating on this movie... Still bitter about it robbing the Oscar from Pulp Fiction.

No.

You know the guy in Good Will Hunting that Matt Damon says the line, "How do you like them apples." He is a educated guy who hasn't finished his education and feels he is super smart because he is going to college, but he hasn't finished yet. That is what you guys remind me off. You are showing off your education yet are missing the point. Forrest Gump belongs in the Cannon. Flight is also amazing. I am not sure what you know about alcoholism, either. You are pretentious and annoying. I hear you guys call all these movies garbage, I wonder what you really like? The fact that you say all you have is disdain is obvious.

BTW, who is that on Amy's shirt? Johnny Ramone? Tom Petty?

I feel censored. I am trying to post a comment about your political comments and it won't let me.

I wished, dear lord, I wished, I could listen to a show about movies and have it be about movies rather than politics. It is idiotic for you to say George Bush was an idiot. I respect your right to have your opinion that you didn't like Bush. I really really do. If you had said , "in my opinion, George wasn't that smart, "I would respect that. But you are what is wrong with politics today. No respect. I do not like President Obama, but I have enough respect for other human beings to not call him a terrorist ( something I do not believe, by the way) or the N word, which is just a horrible thing to say.

but I am not a racist because I don't like the policies of the man. That is respect. You should learn it. And, being in a position of public awareness, it is your responsibility to not be spouting such negative and one sided political opinions in a show about movies. If you want to do a politics show and call it an opinion show, Like O'Reilly( and no, I don't like O'Reilly, or Rush for that matter) than do it. All you are doing is fueling the fire of discontent with YOUR opinion on a show that is about something else. That makes you look like an idiot to me. If you are so politically motivated, then this is what I suggest you do.
